Christ’s Glory and the Prophetic Word

16For we did not follow pcleverly devised qmyths when we made known to you rthe power and scoming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but twe were eyewitnesses of his majesty. 17For when he received honor and glory from God the Father, and the voice was borne to him by the Majestic Glory, uThis is my beloved Son,
Or  my Son, my (or the) Beloved
with whom I am well pleased,”
18we ourselves heard this very voice borne from heaven, for we were with him on wthe holy mountain.

1 John 4:14

14And xwe have seen and testify that ythe Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of zthe world.
