34 And Mary said to the angel, “How will this be, since I am a virgin?” ^{▼▼Greek since I do not know a man}

35 And the angel answered her, ^b“The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of ^cthe Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born ^{▼▼Some manuscripts add of you} will be called ^eholy— ^fthe Son of God.
