others and csent them on ahead of him, two by two, into every town and place where he himself was about to go.
2 dAnd he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. eTherefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest. 3Go your way; fbehold, I am sending you out as lambs in the midst of wolves. 4 gCarry no moneybag, no knapsack, no sandals, and hgreet no one on the road. 5Whatever house you enter, first say, iPeace be to this house!’ 6And if a son of peace is there, your peace will rest upon him. But if not, jit will return to you. 7And remain in the same house, eating and drinking what they provide, for kthe laborer deserves his wages. Do not go from house to house. 8Whenever you enter a town and they receive you, eat what is set before you. 9Heal the sick in it and say to them, l‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’ 10But whenever you enter a town and they do not receive you, go into its streets and say, 11 mEven the dust of your town that clings to our feet we wipe off against you. Nevertheless know this, that nthe kingdom of God has come near.’ 12I tell you, oit will be more bearable on pthat day for Sodom than for that town.

Woe to Unrepentant Cities

13 qWoe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works done in you had been done in rTyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes. 14 sBut it will be more bearable in the judgment for tTyre and Sidon than for you. 15And you, Capernaum, uwill you be exalted to heaven? You shall be brought down to vHades.

The Church in Antioch

19 anNow those who were scattered because of the persecution that arose over Stephen traveled as far as Phoenicia and Cyprus and Antioch, speaking the word to no one except Jews. 20But there were some of them, men of Cyprus and Cyrene, who on coming to Antioch spoke to the Hellenists
Or Greeks (that is, Greek-speaking non-Jews)
also, appreaching the Lord Jesus.

Acts 13:46

46And Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly, saying, “It was necessary that the word of God aqbe spoken first to you. arSince you thrust it aside and judge yourselves asunworthy of eternal life, behold, we atare turning to the Gentiles.

Acts 28:17-31

Paul in Rome

17After three days he called together the local leaders of the Jews, and when they had gathered, he said to them, “Brothers, authough I had done nothing against our people or avthe customs of our fathers, yet I was delivered as a prisoner from Jerusalem into the hands of the Romans. 18When they had examined me, they awwished to set me at liberty, axbecause there was no reason for the death penalty in my case. 19But because the Jews objected, I was compelled ayto appeal to Caesarthough I had no charge to bring against azmy nation. 20For this reason, therefore, I have asked to see you and speak with you, since it is babecause of bbthe hope of Israel that I am wearing bcthis bdchain.” 21And they said to him, “We have received no letters from Judea about you, and none of bethe brothers coming here has reported or spoken any evil about you. 22But we desire to hear from you what your views are, for with regard to this bfsect we know that everywhere bgit is spoken against.”

23When they had appointed a day for him, they came to him at his lodging in greater numbers. From morning till evening bhhe expounded to them, testifying to bithe kingdom of God and bjtrying to convince them about Jesus bkboth from the Law of Moses and from the Prophets. 24And blsome were convinced by what he said, but others disbelieved. 25And disagreeing among themselves, they departed after Paul had made one statement: bmThe Holy Spirit was right in saying to your fathers through Isaiah the prophet:

26 bn“‘Go to this people, and say,
bo“You will indeed hear but never understand,
and you will indeed see but never perceive.”
27 bpFor this people’s heart has grown dull,
and with their ears they can barely hear,
and their eyes they have closed;
lest they should see with their eyes
and hear with their ears
and understand with their heart
and bqturn, and I would heal them.’
28Therefore let it be known to you that brthis bssalvation of God bthas been sent to the Gentiles; buthey will listen.”
Some manuscripts add verse 29: And when he had said these words, the Jews departed, having much dispute among themselves

30He lived there two whole years at his own expense,
Or in his own hired dwelling
and bxwelcomed all who came to him,
31 byproclaiming bzthe kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ cawith all boldness and cbwithout hindrance.
