Luke 10:7-12

7And remain in the same house, eating and drinking what they provide, for athe laborer deserves his wages. Do not go from house to house. 8Whenever you enter a town and they receive you, eat what is set before you. 9Heal the sick in it and say to them, b‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’ 10But whenever you enter a town and they do not receive you, go into its streets and say, 11 cEven the dust of your town that clings to our feet we wipe off against you. Nevertheless know this, that dthe kingdom of God has come near.’ 12I tell you, eit will be more bearable on fthat day for Sodom than for that town.

1 Corinthians 9:4-14

4 gDo we not have the right to eat and drink? 5 hDo we not have the right to take along a believing wife,
Greek  a sister as wife
as do the other apostles and jthe brothers of the Lord and kCephas?
6Or is it only Barnabas and I who have no right to refrain from working for a living? 7 lWho serves as a soldier at his own expense? mWho plants a vineyard without eating any of its fruit? Or who tends a flock without getting some of the milk?

8Do I say these things on human authority? Does not the Law say the same? 9For it is written in the Law of Moses, n“You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain.” Is it for oxen that God is concerned? 10Does he not certainly speak for our sake? It was written ofor our sake, because pthe plowman should plow in hope and the thresher thresh in hope of sharing in the crop. 11 qIf we have sown spiritual things among you, is it too much if we reap material things from you? 12If others share this rightful claim on you, do not we even more?

Nevertheless, rwe have not made use of this right, but we endure anything srather than put an obstacle in the way of the gospel of Christ.
13Do you not know that tthose who are employed in the temple service get their food from the temple, and those who serve at the altar share in the sacrificial offerings? 14In the same way, the Lord commanded that uthose who proclaim the gospel should get their living by the gospel.

Galatians 6:6-7

6 vLet the one who is taught the word share all good things with the one who teaches. 7 wDo not be deceived: God is not mocked, for xwhatever one sows, that will he also reap.

1 Timothy 5:17-18

17Let the elders ywho rule well be considered worthy of zdouble honor, especially those who labor in preaching and teaching. 18For the Scripture says, aa“You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain,” and, ab“The laborer deserves his wages.”
