True Blessedness

27 As he said these things, ^aa woman in the crowd raised her voice and said to him, ^b“Blessed is the womb that bore you, and the breasts at which you nursed!” 28 But he said, ^c“Blessed rather are those ^dwho hear the word of God and ^ekeep it!”

John 20:17

17 Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to ^fmy brothers and say to them, ^g‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to ^hmy God and your God.’”

Romans 8:29

29 For those whom he ⁱforeknew he also ^jpredestined ^kto be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be ^lthe firstborn among many brothers.

Hebrews 2:11-12

11 For ^mhe who sanctifies and ⁿthose who are sanctified ^oall have one source. ^{▼▼Greek all are of one} That is why he is not ashamed to call them ^qbrothers, ^{▼▼Or brothers and sisters. The plural Greek word adelphoi (translated “brothers”) refers to siblings in a family. In New Testament usage, depending on the context, adelphoi may refer either to men or to both men and women who are siblings (brothers and sisters) in God’s family, the church; also verse 12} 12 saying,

^s“I will tell of your name to my brothers;
in the midst of the ^tcongregation I will sing your praise.”
