Do Not Be Anxious

22And he said to his disciples, aTherefore I tell you, bdo not be anxious about your life, what you will eat, nor about your body, what you will put on. 23For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing.

Luke 12:25-26

25And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his cspan of life?
Or  a single cubit to his stature; a cubit was about 18 inches or 45 centimeters
26If then you are not able to do as small a thing as that, why are you anxious about the rest?

Luke 12:29

29And do not seek what you are to eat and what you are to drink, nor ebe worried.

1 Corinthians 7:32

32I want you to be ffree from anxieties. gThe unmarried man is anxious about the things of the Lord, how to please the Lord.

Philippians 4:6

6 hdo not be anxious about anything, ibut in everything by prayer and supplication jwith thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

2 Timothy 2:4

4No soldier kgets entangled in civilian pursuits, since his aim is to please the one who enlisted him.

Hebrews 13:5-6

5Keep your life lfree from love of money, and mbe content with what you have, for he has said, n“I will never leave you nor forsake you.” 6So we can confidently say,

o“The Lord is my helper;
pI will not fear;
what can man do to me?”
