Luke 12:46-47

46the master of that servant will come aon a day when he does not expect him and bat an hour he does not know, and will cut him in pieces and put him with the unfaithful. 47 cAnd that servant who dknew his master’s will but edid not get ready for act according to his will, will receive a gsevere beating.

John 3:19-21

19 hAnd this is the judgment: ithe light has come into the world, and jpeople loved the darkness rather than the light because ktheir works were evil. 20 lFor everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, mlest his works should be exposed. 21But whoever ndoes what is true ocomes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.”

Acts 24:24-25

17But if you call yourself a Jew and afrely on the law and boast in God 18and know his will and approve what is excellent, because you are instructed from the law; 19and if you are sure that you yourself are aga guide to the blind, a light to those who are in darkness, 20an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of children, having in the law ahthe embodiment of aiknowledge and truth 21 ajyou then who teach others, do you not teach yourself? While you preach against stealing, do you steal? 22You who say that one must not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you akrob temples? 23You who alboast in the law amdishonor God by breaking the law.
