Luke 12:47-48

47 aAnd that servant who bknew his master’s will but cdid not get ready dor act according to his will, will receive a esevere beating. 48 fBut the one who did not know, and did what deserved a beating, gwill receive a light beating. hEveryone to whom much was given, of him much will be required, and from him to whom they entrusted much, they will demand the more.

John 3:19-20

19 iAnd this is the judgment: jthe light has come into the world, and kpeople loved the darkness rather than the light because ltheir works were evil. 20 mFor everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, nlest his works should be exposed.

John 9:39-41

39Jesus said, oFor judgment I came into this world, pthat those who do not see may see, and qthose who see may become blind.” 40Some of the Pharisees near him heard these things, and said to him, rAre we also blind?” 41Jesus said to them, If you were blind, syou would have no guilt;
Greek  you would not have sin
but now that you say, ‘We see,’ your guilt remains.


John 15:22-24

22If I had not come and spoken to them, uthey would not have been guilty of sin,
Greek  they would not have sin; also verse 24
but now they have no excuse for their sin.
23 wWhoever hates me hates my Father also. 24 xIf I had not done among them the works that no one else did, ythey would not be guilty of sin, but now they have zseen and hated both me and my Father.

Romans 1:32

32Though they know aaGod’s righteous decree that those who practice such things abdeserve to die, they not only do them but acgive approval to those who practice them.

Romans 2:17-24

17But if you call yourself a Jew and adrely on the law and boast in God 18and know his will and approve what is excellent, because you are instructed from the law; 19and if you are sure that you yourself are aea guide to the blind, a light to those who are in darkness, 20an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of children, having in the law afthe embodiment of agknowledge and truth 21 ahyou then who teach others, do you not teach yourself? While you preach against stealing, do you steal? 22You who say that one must not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you airob temples? 23You who ajboast in the law akdishonor God by breaking the law. 24For, alas it is written, “The name of God is blasphemed amamong the Gentiles because of you.”
