Luke 13:31-33

Lament over Jerusalem

31At that very hour some Pharisees came and said to him, “Get away from ahere, for bHerod wants to kill you.” 32And he said to them, Go and tell that fox, ‘Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day cI finish my course. 33Nevertheless, dI emust go on my way today and tomorrow and the day following, for it cannot be that fa prophet should perish away from Jerusalem.’

Paying Taxes to Caesar

19 gThe scribes and the chief priests sought to lay hands on him at that very hour, for they perceived that he had told this parable against them, but they feared the people.
