Luke 15:18-22

18I will arise and go to my father, and I will say to him, “Father, aI have sinned against bheaven and before you. 19 cI am no longer worthy to be called your son. Treat me as one of your hired servants.”’ 20And he arose and came to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion, and dran and eembraced him and fkissed him. 21And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you. gI am no longer worthy to be called your son.’

22But the father said to his servants,

Bring quickly jthe best robe, and put it on him, and put ka ring on his hand, and lshoes on his feet.

Luke 18:13

13But the tax collector, mstanding far off, nwould not even lift up his eyes to heaven, but obeat his breast, saying, ‘God, pbe merciful to me, a sinner!’

1 John 1:8-10

8 qIf we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and rthe truth is not in us. 9 sIf we confess our sins, he is tfaithful and just to forgive us our sins and uto cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10If we say we have not sinned, vwe make him a liar, and whis word is not in us.
