Luke 15:5-10

5And when he has found it, ahe lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. 6And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for bI have found my sheep that was lost.’ 7Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who crepents than over ninety-nine drighteous persons who need no repentance.

The Parable of the Lost Coin

8Or what woman, having ten silver coins,
Greek  ten drachmas; a drachma was a Greek coin approximately equal in value to a Roman denarius, worth about a day’s wage for a laborer
if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp and sweep the house and seek diligently until she finds it?
9And when she has found it, she calls together her friends and neighbors, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the coin that I had lost.’ 10Just so, I tell you, there is joy before fthe angels of God over one sinner who repents.”

Luke 15:23-24

23And bring gthe fattened calf and kill it, and hlet us eat and celebrate. 24For this my son iwas dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found.’ And they began to celebrate.

John 4:34-36

34Jesus said to them, jMy food is kto do the will of him who sent me and lto accomplish his work. 35Do you not say, ‘There are yet four months, then comes the harvest’? Look, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and see that mthe fields are white for harvest. 36Already the one who reaps is receiving wages and gathering fruit for eternal life, so that nsower and oreaper pmay rejoice together.

James 2:13

13For qjudgment is without mercy to one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.
