The Law and the Kingdom of God

14 ^aThe Pharisees, who were ^blovers of money, heard all these things, and they ^cridiculed him. 15 And he said to them, “You are those who ^djustify yourselves before men, but ^eGod knows your hearts. For what is exalted among men ^fis an abomination in the sight of God.

1 Corinthians 6:10

10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

Ephesians 5:5

5 For you may be sure of this, that ^geveryone who is sexually immoral or impure, or who is covetous ( ^hthat is, an idolater), has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.
