The Law and the Kingdom of God

14 aThe Pharisees, who were blovers of money, heard all these things, and they cridiculed him. 15And he said to them, You are those who djustify yourselves before men, but eGod knows your hearts. For what is exalted among men fis an abomination in the sight of God.

1 Corinthians 6:10

10nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

Ephesians 5:5

5For you may be sure of this, that geveryone who is sexually immoral or impure, or who is covetous ( hthat is, an idolater), has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.

Colossians 3:5

5 iPut to death therefore jwhat is earthly in you:
Greek  therefore your members that are on the earth
lsexual immorality, impurity, mpassion, evil desire, and covetousness, nwhich is idolatry.

1 Timothy 6:9-10

9But othose who desire to be rich fall into temptation, pinto a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that qplunge people into ruin and destruction. 10For the love of money is a root of rall kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.
