Luke 16:19-23

The Rich Man and Lazarus

19 “There was a rich man who was clothed in ^apurple and fine linen and ^bwho feasted sumptuously every day. 20 And at his gate ^cwas laid a poor man named Lazarus, covered with sores, 21 who desired to be fed with ^dwhat fell from the rich man’s table. Moreover, even the dogs came and licked his sores. 22 The poor man died and was carried by ^ethe angels ^fto Abraham’s side. ^{▼▼Greek bosom; also verse 23} The rich man also died and was buried, 23 and in ^hHades, being in torment, he lifted up his eyes and ⁱsaw Abraham far off and Lazarus ^jat his side.

Philippians 3:7-9
