Luke 16:29-31
29But Abraham said, ‘They have aMoses and the Prophets; blet them hear them.’ 30And he said, ‘No, cfather Abraham, but if someone goes to them from the dead, they will repent.’ 31He said to him, ‘If they do not hear dMoses and the Prophets, eneither will they be convinced if someone should rise from the dead.’”John 5:39
39 fYou search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and git is they that bear witness about me,John 20:31
31 hbut these are written so that you may ibelieve that Jesus is the Christ, jthe Son of God, and that by believing kyou may have life lin his name.John 21:25
25Now mthere are also many other things that Jesus did. Were every one of them to be written, I suppose that nthe world itself could not contain the books that would be written.2 Peter 1:19-21
19And owe have the prophetic word more fully confirmed, to which you will do well to pay attention pas to a lamp shining in a dark place, until qthe day rdawns and the morning star rises in your hearts, 20knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone’s own interpretation. 21For sno prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God tas they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
