Luke 16:31

31He said to him, ‘If they do not hear aMoses and the Prophets, bneither will they be convinced if someone should rise from the dead.’”

John 5:39-47

39 cYou search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and dit is they that bear witness about me, 40yet eyou refuse to come to me that you may have life. 41 fI do not receive glory from people. 42But gI know that you do not have hthe love of God within you. 43I have come iin my Father’s name, and jyou do not receive me. kIf another comes in his own name, you will receive him. 44How can you believe, when you receive glory from one another and ldo not seek the glory that comes from mthe only God? 45Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father. There is one who accuses you: Moses, non whom you have set your hope. 46For if you believed Moses, you would believe me; for ohe wrote of me. 47But pif you do not believe his writings, how will you believe my words?”

John 8:43-45

43 qWhy do you not understand what I say? It is because you cannot rbear to hear my word. 44 sYou are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. tHe was a murderer from the beginning, and udoes not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. vWhen he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies. 45But because I tell the truth, you do not believe me.

John 9:27-28

27He answered them, w“I have told you already, and you would not listen. Why do you want to hear it again? Do you also want to become his disciples?” 28And they reviled him, saying, “You are his disciple, but xwe are disciples of Moses.

John 10:25-26

25Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe. yThe works that I do zin my Father’s name bear witness about me, 26but aayou do not believe because you are not among my sheep.

John 12:37-43

37Though he had done so many signs before them, they still did not believe in him, 38 abso that the word spoken by the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled:

acLord, who has believed what he heard from us,
and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”
39Therefore they adcould not believe. For again Isaiah said,

40 ae“He has blinded their eyes
and afhardened their heart,
lest they see with their eyes,
and understand with their heart, and turn,
and I would heal them.”
41Isaiah said these things because aghe saw his glory and ahspoke of him. 42Nevertheless, aimany even of the authorities believed in him, but ajfor fear of the Pharisees they did not akconfess it, so that they would not be alput out of the synagogue; 43 amfor they loved the glory that comes from man more than the glory that comes from God.
