Luke 16:9

9And I tell you, amake friends for yourselves by means of bunrighteous wealth,
Greek mammon, a Semitic word for money or possessions; also verse 11; rendered money in verse 13
so that when it fails they may receive you into the eternal dwellings.


Luke 16:11

11If then you have not been faithful in the unrighteous wealth, who will entrust to you the true riches?

Luke 16:13

13 dNo servant can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.”

1 Timothy 6:9-10

9But ethose who desire to be rich fall into temptation, finto a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that gplunge people into ruin and destruction. 10For the love of money is a root of hall kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.

1 Timothy 6:17

17As for the rich in ithis present age, charge them jnot to be haughty, nor kto set their hopes on lthe uncertainty of riches, but on God, mwho richly provides us with everything to enjoy.
