Luke 17:31-33

31On that day, alet the one who is on bthe housetop, with his goods in the house, not come down to take them away, and likewise let the one who is in the field not turn back. 32 cRemember Lot’s wife. 33 dWhoever seeks to preserve his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life will ekeep it.

Acts 27:18-19

18Since we were violently storm-tossed, they began the next day fto jettison the cargo. 19And on the third day they threw the ship’s tackle overboard with their own hands.
