Luke 17:7-8

Unworthy Servants

7 “Will any one of you who has a servant ^{▼▼Greek bondservant; also verse 9} plowing or keeping sheep say to him when he has come in from the field, ‘Come at once and recline at table’? 8 Will he not rather say to him, ‘Prepare supper for me, and ^bdress properly, ^{▼▼Greek gird yourself} and serve me while I eat and drink, and afterward you will eat and drink’?

John 4:35-38

35 Do you not say, ‘There are yet four months, then comes the harvest’? Look, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and see that ^dthe fields are white for harvest. 36 Already the one who reaps is receiving wages and gathering fruit for eternal life, so that ^esower and ^freaper ^gmay rejoice together. 37 For here the saying holds true, ^h‘One sows and another reaps.’ 38 I sent you to reap ⁱthat for which you did not labor. Others have labored, ^jand you have entered into their labor.”
