left Athens and went to Corinth. 2And he found a Jew named eAquila, a native of Pontus, recently come from Italy with his wife fPriscilla, because gClaudius had commanded all the Jews to leave Rome. And he went to see them, 3and hbecause he was of the same trade he stayed with them and worked, for they were tentmakers by trade. 3 John 7-8
7For they have gone out for the sake of ithe name, jaccepting nothing from the Gentiles. 8Therefore we ought to support people like these, that we may be fellow workers for the truth.
