Ephesians 2:20

20 ^hbuilt on the foundation of the ⁱapostles and prophets, ^jChrist Jesus himself being ^kthe cornerstone,

1 Peter 2:4-8

4 As you come to him, a living stone ^lrejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious, 5 ^myou yourselves like living stones are being built up as ⁿa spiritual house, to be ^oa holy priesthood, ^pto offer spiritual sacrifices ^qacceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 6 For it stands in Scripture:

They stumble because they disobey the word, ^yas they were destined to do.
