Luke 21:17-18

17 aYou will be hated by all for my name’s sake. 18But bnot a hair of your head will perish.

Romans 8:31-39

God’s Everlasting Love

31What then shall we say to these things? cIf God is for us, who can be
Or  who is
against us?
32 eHe who did not spare his own Son but fgave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? 33Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect? gIt is God who justifies. 34 hWho is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raisediwho is at the right hand of God, jwho indeed is interceding for us.
Or Is it Christ Jesus who died . . . for us?
35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? 36As it is written,

l“For your sake mwe are being killed all the day long;
we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.”
37No, in all these things we are more than nconquerors through ohim who loved us. 38For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Hebrews 13:5-6

5Keep your life pfree from love of money, and qbe content with what you have, for he has said, r“I will never leave you nor forsake you.” 6So we can confidently say,

s“The Lord is my helper;
tI will not fear;
what can man do to me?”

Revelation of John 11:5

5And if anyone would harm them, ufire pours from their mouth and consumes their foes. If anyone would harm them, vthis is how he is doomed to be killed.
