The Plot to Kill Jesus
1 aNow the Feast of Unleavened Bread drew near, which is called bthe Passover. 2And the chief priests and the scribes cwere seeking how to put him to death, for they feared the people.Luke 22:5
5And they were glad, and agreed to give him money.Luke 22:22-23
22For the Son of Man goes das it has been determined, but woe to that man by whom he is betrayed!” 23And they began to question one another, which of them it could be who was going to do this.Acts 16:22

hwere jealous, and taking isome wicked men of the rabble, they formed a mob, set the city in an uproar, and attacked the house of Jason, seeking to bring them out to the crowd. 6And when they could not find them, jthey dragged Jason and some of the brothers before the city authorities, shouting, “These men who have turned the world upside down have come here also, Acts 19:28-32
28When they heard this they were enraged and were crying out, k“Great is Artemis of the Ephesians!” 29So the city was filled with the confusion, and they rushed together into the theater, dragging with them Gaius and lAristarchus, Macedonians who were Paul’s mcompanions in travel. 30But when Paul wished to go in among the crowd, the disciples would not let him. 31And even some of the Asiarchs, ▼▼That is, high-ranking officers of the province of Asia
who were friends of his, sent to him and were urging him not to venture into the theater. 32 oNow some cried out one thing, some another, for the assembly was in confusion, and most of them did not know why they had come together.
