Luke 23:45

45while the sun’s light failed. And athe curtain of the temple was torn in two.

Hebrews 4:14-16

Jesus the Great High Priest

14Since then we have ba great high priest cwho has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, dlet us hold fast our confession. 15For we do not have a high priest ewho is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been ftempted as we are, gyet without sin. 16 hLet us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Hebrews 6:19

19We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters into ithe inner place behind the curtain,

Hebrews 9:3-12

3Behind jthe second curtain was a second section
Greek tent; also verses 6, 8
called the Most Holy Place,
4having the golden laltar of incense and mthe ark of the covenant covered on all sides with gold, in which was na golden urn holding the manna, and oAaron’s staff that budded, and pthe tablets of the covenant. 5Above it were qthe cherubim of glory overshadowing rthe mercy seat. Of these things we cannot now speak in detail.

6These preparations having thus been made, sthe priests go regularly into the first section, performing their ritual duties, 7but into the second only tthe high priest goes, and he but uonce a year, and not without taking blood, vwhich he offers for himself and for the unintentional sins of the people. 8By this the Holy Spirit indicates that wthe way into the holy places is not yet opened as long as the first section is still standing 9(which is symbolic for the present age).
Or  which is symbolic for the age then present
According to this arrangement, gifts and sacrifices are offered ythat cannot perfect the conscience of the worshiper,
10but deal only with zfood and drink and aavarious washings, regulations for the body imposed until the time of reformation.

Redemption Through the Blood of Christ

11But when Christ appeared as a high priest abof the good things that have come,

then through adthe greater and more perfect tent ( aenot made with hands, that is, not of this creation)
12he afentered agonce for all into the holy places, not by means of ahthe blood of goats and calves but aiby means of his own blood, ajthus securing an eternal redemption.

Hebrews 10:19-23

The Full Assurance of Faith

19 akTherefore, brothers,
Or  brothers and sisters
since we have confidence to enter amthe holy places by the blood of Jesus,
20by anthe new and living way that he opened for us through aothe curtain, that is, through his flesh, 21and since we have apa great priest over the house of God, 22let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts aqsprinkled clean arfrom an evil conscience and our bodies aswashed with pure water. 23 atLet us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for auhe who promised is faithful.
