25 For David says concerning him,

^g“‘I saw the Lord always before me,
for he is at my right hand that I may not be shaken;
26 therefore my heart was glad, and my tongue rejoiced;
my flesh also will dwell ^hin hope.
27 For you will not abandon my soul to ⁱHades,
^jor let your ^kHoly One ^lsee corruption.
28 You have made known to me the paths of life;
you will make me full of gladness with your presence.’
29 “Brothers, I may say to you with confidence about ^mthe patriarch David ⁿthat he both died and ^owas buried, and ^phis tomb is with us to this day. 30 ^qBeing therefore a prophet, and knowing that ^rGod had sworn with an oath to him that he would set one of his descendants on his throne, 31 he foresaw and spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that ^she was not abandoned to Hades, nor did his flesh see corruption. 32 This Jesus ^tGod raised up, ^uand of that we all are witnesses. 33 ^vBeing therefore ^wexalted at the right hand of God, and having received from ^xthe Father ^ythe promise of the Holy Spirit, ^zhe has poured out this that you yourselves are seeing and hearing.

Acts 13:30-37

30 But ^aaGod raised him from the dead, 31 and for many days ^abhe appeared to those ^acwho had come up with him ^adfrom Galilee to Jerusalem, ^aewho are now ^afhis witnesses to the people. 32 And we bring you the good news ^agthat what God promised to the fathers, 33 ^ahthis he has fulfilled to us their children by raising Jesus, as also it is written in the second Psalm,

today I have begotten you.’
34 And as for the fact that he raised him from the dead, ^aj, ^akno more to return to corruption, he has spoken in this way,

“‘I will give you ^althe holy and sure blessings of David.’
35 Therefore he says also in another psalm,

^am“‘You will not let your Holy One see corruption.’
36 For David, after he had ^anserved the purpose of God in his own generation, ^aofell asleep and ^apwas laid with his fathers and saw corruption, 37 but he whom ^aqGod raised up did not see corruption.

Acts 26:22-23

22 ^arTo this day I have had the help that comes from God, and so ^asI stand here testifying both to small and great, saying nothing but what ^atthe prophets and Moses said would come to pass: 23 ^authat the Christ ^avmust suffer and that, ^awby being the first ^axto rise from the dead, ^ayhe would proclaim ^azlight both to our people and to the Gentiles.”

1 Peter 1:11

11 inquiring ^bawhat person or time ^bbthe Spirit of Christ in them was indicating ^bcwhen he predicted ^bdthe sufferings of Christ and the subsequent glories.
