Luke 3:10-18

10And the crowds asked him, aWhat then shall we do?” 11And he answered them, b“Whoever has two tunics
Greek chiton, a long garment worn under the cloak next to the skin
is to share with him who has none, and whoever has food is to do likewise.”
12 dTax collectors also came to be baptized and said to him, “Teacher, ewhat shall we do?” 13And he said to them, fCollect no more than you are authorized to do.” 14Soldiers also asked him, “And we, gwhat shall we do?” And he said to them, h“Do not extort money from anyone by threats or by false accusation, and be content with your iwages.”

15As the people were in expectation, and all were questioning in their hearts concerning John, jwhether he might be kthe Christ, 16 lJohn answered them all, saying, “I baptize you with water, but mhe who is mightier than I is coming, nthe strap of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you owith the Holy Spirit and pfire. 17His qwinnowing fork is in his hand, to clear his threshing floor and to rgather the wheat into his barn, sbut the chaff he will burn with tunquenchable fire.”

18So uwith many other exhortations he preached good news to the people.
