Luke 8:13-15

13And the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear the word, receive it awith joy. But these have no root; they bbelieve for a while, and in time of testing cfall away. 14And as for what fell among the thorns, they are those who hear, but das they go on their way they are choked by the ecares and riches and pleasures of life, and their fruit does not mature. 15As for that in the good soil, they are those who, hearing the word, hold it fast in an honest and good heart, and fbear fruit gwith patience.

Luke 22:32

32but hI have prayed for you that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned again, istrengthen your brothers.”

Galatians 5:6

6For in Christ Jesus jneither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but konly faith working through love.

Hebrews 10:35

35Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has la great reward.

Hebrews 10:39

39But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who have faith and preserve their souls.

Hebrews 11:1-7

By Faith

1Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of mthings not seen. 2For by it the people of old received their commendation. 3By faith we understand that the universe was created by nthe word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of othings that are visible.

4By faith pAbel offered to God qa more acceptable sacrifice than Cain, through which he was commended as righteous, God commending him by accepting his gifts. And rthrough his faith, though he died, he sstill speaks. 5By faith tEnoch was taken up so that he should not see death, and he was not found, because God had taken him. Now before he was taken he was commended as having pleased God. 6And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God umust believe that he exists and vthat he rewards those who seek him. 7By faith wNoah, being warned by God concerning xevents as yet unseen, in reverent fear constructed an ark for the saving of his household. By this he condemned the world and became an heir of ythe righteousness that comes by faith.

1 John 5:1-5

Overcoming the World

1 zEveryone who believes that aaJesus is the Christ has been born of God, and abeveryone who loves the Father loves whoever has been born of him. 2 acBy this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and obey his commandments. 3For adthis is the love of God, that we aekeep his commandments. And afhis commandments are not burdensome. 4For ageveryone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the worldahour faith. 5Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes aithat Jesus is the Son of God?
