52And ahe sent messengers ahead of him, who went and entered a village of bthe Samaritans, to make preparations for him. 53But cthe people did not receive him, because dhis face was set toward Jerusalem. 54And when his disciples James and John saw it, they said, “Lord, do you want us to tell efire to come down from heaven and consume them?”

Luke 10:32-35

32So likewise ha Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. 33But a iSamaritan, as he journeyed, came to where he was, and when he saw him, he had compassion. 34He went to him and jbound up his wounds, pouring on koil and wine. Then he set him on his own animal and brought him to an inn and took care of him. 35And the next day he took out two ldenarii
A  denarius was a day’s wage for a laborer
and gave them to the innkeeper, saying, ‘Take care of him, and whatever more you spend, I will repay you when I come back.’

John 4:9

9The Samaritan woman said to him, “How is it that you, a Jew, ask for a drink from me, a woman of Samaria?” ( nFor Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.)

John 4:21-22

21Jesus said to her, oWoman, believe me, pthe hour is coming when qneither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father. 22 rYou worship what you do not know; swe worship what we know, for tsalvation is ufrom the Jews.

39Many Samaritans vfrom that town believed in him wbecause of xthe woman’s testimony, “He told me all that I ever did.” 40So when the Samaritans came to him, they asked him to stay with them, and he stayed there two days. 41And many more believed ybecause of his word. 42They said to the woman, “It is no longer because of what you said that we believe, for we have heard for ourselves, zand we know that this is indeed aathe Savior abof the world.”

That is, a bitter fluid secreted by the liver; bile
of bitterness and in bpthe bond of iniquity.”
24And Simon answered, bqPray for me to the Lord, that nothing of what you have said may come upon me.”

25Now when they had testified and spoken the word of the Lord, they returned to Jerusalem, brpreaching the gospel to many villages of the Samaritans.
