Malachi 1:12-13

12 But you profane it when you say that ^athe Lord’s table is polluted, and its fruit, that is, its food may be despised. 13 But you say, ^b‘What a weariness this is,’ and you snort at it, says the Lord of hosts. ^cYou bring what has been taken by violence or is lame or sick, and this you bring as your offering! Shall I accept that from your hand? says the Lord.

Malachi 3:14-15

14 You have said, ^d‘It is vain to serve God. ^eWhat is the profit of our keeping his charge or of walking as in mourning before the Lord of hosts? 15 And now we call ^fthe arrogant blessed. ^gEvildoers not only prosper but ^hthey put God to the test and they escape.’”

Luke 19:20-22
