Malachi 1:12-14

12 But you profane it when you say that ^bthe Lord’s table is polluted, and its fruit, that is, its food may be despised. 13 But you say, ^c‘What a weariness this is,’ and you snort at it, says the Lord of hosts. ^dYou bring what has been taken by violence or is lame or sick, and this you bring as your offering! Shall I accept that from your hand? says the Lord. 14 Cursed be the cheat who has ^ea male in his flock, and ^fvows it, and yet sacrifices to the Lord what is blemished. For ^gI am a great King, says the Lord of hosts, and my name ^hwill be feared among the nations.

Malachi 3:8-9

8 Will man rob God? Yet you are robbing me. ⁱBut you say, ‘How have we robbed you?’ ^jIn your tithes and contributions. 9 ^kYou are cursed with a curse, for you are robbing me, the whole nation of you.
