Malachi 3:1-3

1 aBehold, I send bmy messenger, and che will prepare the way before me. And the Lord dwhom you seek will suddenly come to his temple; and ethe messenger of the covenant in whom you delight, behold, he is coming, says the Lord of hosts. 2But fwho can endure the day of his coming, and who can stand when he appears? For ghe is like a refiner’s fire and like fullerssoap. 3He will sit has a refiner and purifier of silver, and he will purify the sons of Levi and refine them like gold and silver, and they will bring iofferings in righteousness to the Lord.
Or and they will belong to the Lord, bringers of an offering in righteousness

Malachi 4:2-6

2But for you kwho fear my name, lthe sun mof righteousness shall rise nwith healing in its wings. You shall go out oleaping like calves from the stall. 3And you shall tread down the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet, pon the day when I act, says the Lord of hosts.

4 qRemember rthe law of my servant Moses, the statutes and rules
Or  and just decrees
that I commanded him at Horeb for all Israel.

5 tBehold, I will send you uElijah the prophet vbefore the great and awesome day of the Lord comes. 6And he will wturn the hearts of fathers to their children and the hearts of children to their fathers, lest I come and xstrike the land with a decree of utter destruction.”
The Hebrew term rendered  decree of utter destruction refers to things devoted (or set apart) to the Lord (or by the Lord) for destruction
