Malachi 3:13-15

13 a“Your words have been hard against me, says the Lord. bBut you say, ‘How have we spoken against you?’ 14You have said, c‘It is vain to serve God. dWhat is the profit of our keeping his charge or of walking as in mourning before the Lord of hosts? 15And now we call ethe arrogant blessed. fEvildoers not only prosper but gthey put God to the test and they escape.’”

Matthew 20:11-15

11And on receiving it they grumbled at the master of the house, 12saying, ‘These last worked only one hour, and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden of the day and hthe scorching heat.’ 13But he replied to one of them, iFriend, I am doing you no wrong. Did you not agree with me for a denarius? 14Take jwhat belongs to you and go. I choose to give to this last worker as I give to you. 15 kAm I not allowed to do what I choose with what belongs to me? Or ldo you begrudge my generosity?’
Or is your eye bad because I am good?

Romans 3:5

5But if our unrighteousness serves to show the righteousness of God, what shall we say? That God is unrighteous to inflict nwrath on us? ( oI speak in a human way.)

Romans 3:20

20For pby works of the law no human being
Greek flesh
will be justified in his sight, since rthrough the law comes knowledge of sin.

Romans 9:20

20But who are you, O man, sto answer back to God? tWill what is molded say to its molder, “Why have you made me like this?”

Romans 10:3

3For, being ignorant of uthe righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness.
