Malachi 3:17-18

17“They shall be mine, says the Lord of hosts, ain the day when I make up bmy treasured possession, and I will spare them as a man spares his son who serves him. 18Then once more you shall csee the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve him.

The Final Judgment

31 dWhen the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, ethen he will sit on his glorious throne. 32Before him fwill be gathered gall the nations, and hhe will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates ithe sheep from the goats. 33And he will place the sheep on his right, but the goats on the left. 34Then jthe King will say to kthose on his right, ‘Come, you lwho are blessed by my Father, minherit nthe kingdom oprepared for you pfrom the foundation of the world. 35For qI was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you rgave me drink, sI was a stranger and you welcomed me, 36 tI was naked and you clothed me, uI was sick and you vvisited me, wI was in prison and you came to me.’ 37Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? 38And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? 39And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ 40And xthe King will answer them, yTruly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these zmy brothers,
Or  brothers and sisters
you did it to me.’

41Then he will say to those on his left, abDepart from me, you accursed, into adthe eternal fire prepared for aethe devil and his angels. 42For afI was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, 43I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.’ 44Then they also will answer, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to you?’ 45Then he will answer them, saying, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did not do it to one of the least of these, agyou did not do it to me.’ 46And these will go away ahinto eternal punishment, but the righteous aiinto ajeternal life.”
