“For behold, bthe day is coming, cburning like an oven, when dall the arrogant and eall evildoers fwill be stubble. The day that is coming gshall set them ablaze, says the Lord of hosts, so that it will leave them neither root nor branch. 2But for you hwho fear my name, ithe sun jof righteousness shall rise kwith healing in its wings. 24 m“Strive nto enter through the narrow door. For many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able. 25 oWhen once the master of the house has risen and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and to knock at the door, saying, p‘Lord, open to us,’ then he will answer you, q‘I do not know where you come from.’ 26Then you will begin to say, r‘We ate and drank in your presence, and you taught in our streets.’ 27But he will say, ‘I tell you, sI do not know where you come from. tDepart from me, all you workers of evil!’ 28 uIn that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you see vAbraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God but wyou yourselves cast out.
