Mark 1:29-34

Jesus Heals Many

29 ^aAnd immediately he ^{▼▼Some manuscripts they} ^cleft the synagogue and entered the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John. 30 Now ^dSimon’s mother-in-law lay ill with a fever, and immediately they told him about her. 31 And he came and ^etook her by the hand and lifted her up, and the fever left her, and she began to serve them.

32 That evening at sundown they brought to him all who were sick or ^foppressed by demons. 33 And the whole city was gathered together at the door. 34 ^gAnd he healed many who were sick with various diseases, and cast out many demons. And ^hhe would not permit the demons to speak, because they knew him.

Jesus Heals Many

38 ⁱAnd he arose and left the synagogue and entered Simon’s house. Now ^jSimon’s mother-in-law was ill with a high fever, and they appealed to him on her behalf. 39 And he stood over her and ^krebuked the fever, and it left her, and immediately she rose and began to serve them.

40 Now when the sun was setting, all those who had any who were sick with various diseases brought them to him, and ^lhe laid his hands on every one of them and healed them. 41 ^mAnd demons also came out of many, ⁿcrying, “You are ^othe Son of God!” But he rebuked them and ^pwould not allow them to speak, because they knew that he was ^qthe Christ.
