The Baptism of Jesus

9 aIn those days Jesus bcame from Nazareth of Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan. 10And when he came up out of the water, immediately he csaw dthe heavens being torn open eand the Spirit descending on him like a dove. 11And fa voice came from heaven, gYou are my beloved Son;
Or  my Son, my (or the) Beloved
with you I am well pleased.”

Luke 3:21-22

21Now when all the people were baptized, and when iJesus also had been baptized and was praying, jthe heavens were opened, 22and kthe Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form, like a dove; and la voice came from heaven, mYou are my beloved Son;

John 1:31-34

31I myself did not know him, but pfor this purpose I came baptizing with water, that he might be revealed to Israel.” 32And John qbore witness: r“I saw the Spirit descend from heaven like a dove, and sit remained on him. 33I myself did not know him, but the who sent me to baptize uwith water said to me, ‘He on whom you see the Spirit descend and remain, vthis is he who baptizes wwith the Holy Spirit.’ 34And I have seen and have borne witness that this is the Son of God.”
