36 David himself, ^ain the Holy Spirit, declared,

^b“‘The Lord said to my Lord,
“Sit at my right hand,
until I put your enemies ^cunder your feet.”’
37 David himself calls him Lord. So ^dhow is he his son?” And the great throng ^eheard him gladly.
