24But in those days, after athat tribulation, bthe sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, 25and cthe stars will be falling from heaven, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken. 26And then they will see dthe Son of Man coming in clouds ewith great power and glory.

Luke 21:25-27

The Coming of the Son of Man

25And fthere will be signs in sun and moon gand stars, and on the earth hdistress of nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the waves, 26people fainting with fear and with foreboding of what is coming on the world. For ithe powers of the heavens will be shaken. 27And then they will see jthe Son of Man coming in a cloud kwith power and great glory.

Revelation of John 8:5-12

The Seven Trumpets

6Now the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared to blow them.

7The first angel blew his trumpet, and there followed afhail and agfire, mixed with blood, and these were thrown upon the earth. And a ahthird of the earth was burned up, and a third of aithe trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up.

8The second angel blew his trumpet, and something like aja great mountain, burning with fire, was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea akbecame blood. 9A third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of althe ships were destroyed.

10The third angel blew his trumpet, and ama great star fell from heaven, blazing like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on anthe springs of water. 11The name of the star is Wormwood.
 Wormwood is the name of a plant and of the bitter-tasting extract derived from it
A third of the waters apbecame wormwood, and many people died from the water, aqbecause it had been made bitter.

12The fourth angel blew his trumpet, and a third of arthe sun was struck, and a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of their light might be darkened, and a third of the day might be kept from shining, and likewise a third of the night.
