Judas to Betray Jesus

10 fThen gJudas Iscariot, who was one of the twelve, hwent to the chief priests in order to betray him to them. 11And when they heard it, they were glad and promised to give him money. And he sought an opportunity to ibetray him.

The Passover with the Disciples

12 jAnd on kthe first day of Unleavened Bread, when they lsacrificed the Passover lamb, his disciples said to him, “Where will you have us go and prepare for you to eat the Passover?” 13And he sent mtwo of his disciples and said to them, Go into the city, and a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him, 14and wherever he enters, say to the master of the house, n‘The Teacher says, Where is omy guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?’ 15And he will show you pa large upper room furnished and ready; there prepare for us.” 16And the disciples set out and went to the city and found it just as he had told them, and they prepared the Passover.

17 qAnd when it was evening, he came with the twelve. 18And as they were reclining at table and eating, rJesus said, Truly, I say to you, one of you will betray me, sone who is eating with me.” 19They began to be sorrowful and to say to him one after another, “Is it I?” 20He said to them, “It is tone of the twelve, uone who is dipping bread into the dish with me. 21For the Son of Man goes vas it is written of him, but wwoe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! xIt would have been better for that man if he had not been born.”

Luke 14:13-14

13But when you give a feast, yinvite zthe poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, 14and you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you. For you will be repaid aaat abthe resurrection of the just.”
