Mark 15:24-32

24And they crucified him and adivided his garments among them, casting lots for them, to decide what each should take. 25And bit was the third hour
That is, 9 a.m.
when they crucified him.
26And the inscription of the charge against him read, d“The King of the Jews.” 27And with him they crucified two erobbers, fone on his right and one on his left.
Some manuscripts insert verse 28: And the Scripture was fulfilled that says, “He was numbered with the transgressors”
29And hthose who passed by derided him, iwagging their heads and saying, jAha! kYou who would destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days, 30save yourself, and come down from the cross!” 31So also the chief priests with the scribes mocked him to one another, saying, l“He saved others; mhe cannot save himself. 32Let nthe Christ, othe King of Israel, come down now from the cross that we may psee and believe.” qThose who were crucified with him also reviled him.

Luke 23:34

34And Jesus said, Father, rforgive them, sfor they know not what they do.”
Some manuscripts omit the sentence  And Jesus . . . what they do
And they cast lots uto divide his garments.

John 19:23-24

23 vWhen the soldiers had crucified Jesus, they took his garments and divided them into four parts, one part for each soldier; also his tunic.
Greek chiton, a long garment worn under the cloak next to the skin
But the tunic was seamless, woven in one piece from top to bottom,
24so they said to one another, “Let us not tear it, but cast lots for it to see whose it shall be.” xThis was to fulfill the Scripture which says,

y“They divided my garments among them,
and for my clothing they cast lots.”
So the soldiers did these things,
