and may indeed hear but not understand,
lest they cshould turn and be forgiven.'”

Mark 8:17-18

John 9:39-41

39Jesus said, lFor judgment I came into this world, mthat those who do not see may see, and nthose who see may become blind.” 40Some of the Pharisees near him heard these things, and said to him, oAre we also blind?” 41Jesus said to them, If you were blind, pyou would have no guilt;
Greek  you would not have sin
but now that you say, ‘We see,’ your guilt remains.

Acts 28:26-27
