18 aFor John had been saying to Herod, b“It is not lawful for you to have your brother’s wife.” 19And Herodias had a grudge against him and wanted to put him to death. But she could not, 20for Herod cfeared John, knowing that he was a righteous and holy man, and he kept him safe. When he heard him, he was greatly perplexed, and yet he dheard him gladly.

John 7:34

34 eYou will seek me and you will not find me. Where I am you cannot come.”

John 8:21

21So he said to them again, fI am going away, and gyou will seek me, and hyou will die in your sin. Where I am going, you cannot come.”

Romans 9:31-33
