27 aAnd Jesus went on with his disciples to the villages of Caesarea Philippi. And on the way he asked his disciples, “Who do people say that I am?” 28And they told him, b“John the Baptist; and others say, cElijah; and others, one of the prophets.” 29And he asked them, “But who do you say that I am?” Peter answered him, d“You are ethe Christ.”Luke 9:18-20

18 fNow it happened that as he was praying alone, the disciples were with him. And he asked them, “Who do the crowds say that I am?” 19And they answered, g“John the Baptist. But others say, hElijah, and others, that one of the prophets of old has risen.” 20Then he said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” And Peter answered, i“The Christ of God.”
