Mark 9:38-40

Anyone Not Against Us Is for Us

38 ^aJohn said to him, “Teacher, we saw someone ^bcasting out demons in your name, ^{▼▼Some manuscripts add who does not follow us} and ^dwe tried to stop him, because he was not following us.” 39 But Jesus said, “Do not stop him, for no one who does a mighty work in my name will be able soon afterward to speak evil of me. 40 ^eFor the one who is not against us is for us.

Luke 9:45

45 ^fBut they did not understand this saying, and ^git was concealed from them, so that they might not perceive it. And they were afraid to ask him about this saying.
