Mark 9:41

41For truly, I say to you, awhoever gives you a cup of water to drink because you belong to Christ will by no means lose his reward.

Mark 12:42-43

42And a poor widow came and put in two bsmall copper coins, which make a penny.
Greek  two lepta, which make a kodrantes; a kodrantes (Latin quadrans) was a Roman copper coin worth about 1/64 of a denarius (which was a day’s wage for a laborer)
43And he called his disciples to him and said to them, Truly, I say to you, dthis poor widow has put in more than all those who are contributing to the offering box.

Mark 14:7-8

7For eyou always have the poor with you, and whenever fyou want, you can do good for them. But gyou will not always have me. 8 hShe has done what she could; she has anointed my body beforehand ifor burial.

2 Corinthians 8:12

12For if the readiness is there, it is acceptable jaccording to what a person has, not according to what he does not have.
