Mark 9:49-50

49For everyone will be salted with fire.
Some manuscripts add and every sacrifice will be salted with salt
50 bSalt is good, cbut if the salt has lost its saltiness, how will you make it salty again? dHave salt in yourselves, and ebe at peace with one another.”

Luke 14:34-35

Salt Without Taste Is Worthless

34 fSalt is good, gbut if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? 35It is of no use either for the soil or for the manure pile. It is thrown away. hHe who has ears to hear, let him hear.”

Hebrews 6:4-6

4For it is impossible, in the case of those iwho have once been enlightened, who have tasted jthe heavenly gift, and khave shared in the Holy Spirit, 5and lhave tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, 6and mthen have fallen away, to restore them again to repentance, since nthey are crucifying once again the Son of God to their own harm and holding him up to contempt.

2 Peter 2:20-21

20For if, oafter they have escaped the defilements of the world pthrough the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, qthe last state has become worse for them than the first. 21For rit would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than after knowing it to turn back from sthe holy commandment delivered to them.
