1 Corinthians 15:45-47

Philippians 2:6-8

Hebrews 2:6-13

6 It has been testified somewhere,

8 putting everything in subjection under his feet.”
Now in putting everything in subjection to him, he left nothing outside his control. At present, ^ahwe do not yet see everything in subjection to him. 9 But we see him ^aiwho for a little while was made lower than the angels, namely Jesus, ^ajcrowned with glory and honor ^akbecause of the suffering of death, so that by the grace of God he might ^altaste death ^amfor everyone.

10 For it ^anwas fitting that he, ^aofor whom and by whom all things exist, in bringing many sons ^apto glory, should make the ^aqfounder of their salvation ^arperfect through suffering. 11 For ^ashe who sanctifies and ^atthose who are sanctified ^auall have one source. ^{▼▼Greek all are of one} That is why he is not ashamed to call them ^awbrothers, ^{▼▼Or brothers and sisters. The plural Greek word adelphoi (translated “brothers”) refers to siblings in a family. In New Testament usage, depending on the context, adelphoi may refer either to men or to both men and women who are siblings (brothers and sisters) in God’s family, the church; also verse 12} 12 saying,

^ay“I will tell of your name to my brothers;
in the midst of the ^azcongregation I will sing your praise.”
13 And again,

^ba“I will put my trust in him.”

^bb“Behold, I and the children ^bcGod has given me.”
