Matthew 10:10

10no bag for your journey, or two tunics
Greek chiton, a long garment worn under the cloak next to the skin
or sandals or a staff, for bthe laborer deserves his food.

Luke 10:7

7And remain in the same house, eating and drinking what they provide, for cthe laborer deserves his wages. Do not go from house to house.

1 Corinthians 9:7-14

7 dWho serves as a soldier at his own expense? eWho plants a vineyard without eating any of its fruit? Or who tends a flock without getting some of the milk?

8Do I say these things on human authority? Does not the Law say the same? 9For it is written in the Law of Moses, f“You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain.” Is it for oxen that God is concerned? 10Does he not certainly speak for our sake? It was written gfor our sake, because hthe plowman should plow in hope and the thresher thresh in hope of sharing in the crop. 11 iIf we have sown spiritual things among you, is it too much if we reap material things from you? 12If others share this rightful claim on you, do not we even more?

Nevertheless, jwe have not made use of this right, but we endure anything krather than put an obstacle in the way of the gospel of Christ.
13Do you not know that lthose who are employed in the temple service get their food from the temple, and those who serve at the altar share in the sacrificial offerings? 14In the same way, the Lord commanded that mthose who proclaim the gospel should get their living by the gospel.

Galatians 6:6

6 nLet the one who is taught the word share all good things with the one who teaches.

1 Thessalonians 2:6

6 oNor did we seek glory from people, whether from you or from others, pthough we could have made qdemands as rapostles of Christ.

2 Thessalonians 3:8-9

8nor did we eat anyone’s bread without paying for it, but swith toil and labor we worked night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you. 9It was tnot because we do not have that right, but to give you in ourselves uan example to imitate.

1 Timothy 5:17-18

17Let the elders vwho rule well be considered worthy of wdouble honor, especially those who labor in preaching and teaching. 18For the Scripture says, x“You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain,” and, y“The laborer deserves his wages.”
