Leprosy was a term for several skin diseases; see Leviticus 13
are cleansed and the deaf hear, and the dead are raised up, and ethe poor have good news preached to them.

Matthew 26:63-68

63 fBut Jesus remained silent. gAnd the high priest said to him, h“I adjure you by ithe living God, jtell us if you are kthe Christ, lthe Son of God.” 64Jesus said to him, mYou have said so. But I tell you, from now on nyou will see the Son of Man oseated at the right hand of Power and pcoming on the clouds of heaven.” 65Then the high priest qtore his robes and said, r“He has uttered blasphemy. What further witnesses do we need? You have now heard his blasphemy. 66What is your judgment?” They answered, s“He deserves death.” 67Then tthey spit in his face uand vstruck him. And some slapped him, 68saying, “Prophesy to us, you wChrist! Who is it that struck you?”

Mark 14:61-66

61But xhe remained silent and made no answer. yAgain the high priest asked him, “Are you zthe Christ, the Son of aathe Blessed?” 62And Jesus said, I am, and abyou will see the Son of Man acseated at the right hand of Power, and adcoming with the clouds of heaven.” 63And the high priest aetore his garments and said, “What further witnesses do we need? 64You have heard afhis blasphemy. What is your decision?” And they agall condemned him as ahdeserving death. 65 aiAnd some began ajto spit on him and akto cover his face and to strike him, saying to him, “Prophesy!” And the guards received him alwith blows.

Peter Denies Jesus

66 amAnd as Peter was below in the courtyard, one of the servant girls of the high priest came,

John 10:24

24So the Jews gathered around him and said to him, “How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are anthe Christ, aotell us plainly.”
