Matthew 11:9-14

9What then did you go out to see? aA prophet?

Yes, I tell you, and more than a prophet.
10This is he of whom it is written,

c“‘Behold, I send my messenger before your face,
who will prepare your way before you.’
11Truly, I say to you, among those born of women there has arisen no one greater than John the Baptist. Yet the one who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. 12 dFrom the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence,
Or  has been coming violently
and the violent take it by force.
13 fFor all the Prophets and the Law prophesied until John, 14and if you are willing to accept it, he is gElijah who is to come.

Luke 16:29

29But Abraham said, ‘They have hMoses and the Prophets; ilet them hear them.’

Luke 16:31

31He said to him, ‘If they do not hear jMoses and the Prophets, kneither will they be convinced if someone should rise from the dead.’”

John 1:45

Acts 3:18

18But what God pforetold qby the mouth of all the prophets, that rhis Christ would ssuffer, he thus fulfilled.

Acts 3:24-25

24And tall the prophets who have spoken, from Samuel and those who came after him, also proclaimed these days. 25 uYou are the sons of the prophets and of vthe covenant that God made with your fathers, saying to Abraham, wAnd in your offspring shall all the families of the earth be blessed.’
