Matthew 12:10

10 And a man was there with a withered hand. And they asked him, ^a“Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?”— ^bso that they might accuse him.

2 And ^cthey watched Jesus, ^{▼▼Greek him} to see whether he would heal him on the Sabbath, so that they might accuse him.

7 And the scribes and the Pharisees ^ewatched him, to see whether he would heal on the Sabbath, ^fso that they might find a reason to accuse him.

3 And Jesus responded to ^gthe lawyers and Pharisees, saying, ^h“Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath, or not?”

16 And this was why the Jews ⁱwere persecuting Jesus, ^jbecause he was doing these things on the Sabbath.
